We’ve just come back from a week in Cornwall, it was our first visit to this part of the UK and we loved it. We stayed at the Cerenety Campsite in Bude. This is a lovely eco-friendly campsite in a gorgeous location above the village of Bude. We chose this site because it looked really quiet and peaceful, it wasn’t too far down the coast (it was a long drive to get there anyway!) and I especially liked that they seem very family friendly. Plus they had lots of animals that the kids were welcome to visit, hold and help out with, plus an enormous vege garden that we were welcome to help ourselves to. Mike especially liked that we could build a campfire every night, and the solar showers and compost toilets sounded like an adventure 🙂
The girls fell in love with Willie the billy goat, Nanna the Shetland pony with very short legs, all the rabbits and the chickens. They didn’t want to leave.
It was absolutely brilliant and we would all recommend staying here to everyone! If we are ever back this way we will be staying here.
We’ve put some photo’s in the gallery below just to show exactly why staying here was so much fun!
