Michael building the new fence for the No-Dig garden

The next stage of the no-dig garden is to fence it off from the wild rabbits who will simply devastate anything we hope to plant and grow in them.  Passing by a local pub the other day we noticed a pile of old fencing stacked in their carpark. After a polite chat with the owner, we’ve been allowed to fill the car and bring home as much as we want.  It suits our needs entirely, it’s free and we can recycle it to fit in with our needs without too much trouble. And because it is mostly still in its panels, albeit old and weathered panels, it means building the fence is now only going to take a fraction of the time we had thought. It took about three trips to and from the pub (alas!!) to get all that we could. A friend lent us a cordless saw and Mike was off! Without too much trouble Mike put together the first part of the fence. We’ll carry on with the other sides over the coming weeks…
